Immigration has been a concern of the United States for decades now. Some people think that we should allow them in. Others prefer that we close our borders. Our current President, Trump, has really restricted immigration travel. There are many reasons immigrants make their way to the United States. Whether it be moving to the United States to be closer to family, or trying to make a new life for themselves, immigration should not be considered a problem.
Not only do they bring a whole new array of culture and diversity, but they help improve the economy. Ours as well as their own. For those who come to the United States seeking education, some stay and some go back. They take those skills back to their countries to share what they have learned. Some come to support their families financially. Due to lack of jobs or poor pay, some families can't make it in their countries. It would be immoral and wrong to send them back to nothing. There then comes the cost of sending them back home. How much money is being spent in order to keep immigrants out? Why not use this money to help them? Or even our own people?
Don't forget, we were once immigrants ourselves. We "discovered" the new world and turned it into what it is today, a land of opportunity and place where dreams can come true.
